North Dakota Stays #1 in USCHO Poll
A pair of home victories helped the Fighting Hawks remain as the number 1 ranked team in then USCHO Division I Men's Poll.
This past Friday and Saturday, UND defeated Canisius 6-0 and 4-1 respectively to open the season with a record of 2-0. This helped the Fighting Hawks to retain their number 1 ranking while receiving 45 out of 50 possible first place votes. The remaining five votes went to 2nd ranked, Boston University. Quinnipiac, Minnesota-Duluth, and Notre Dame finished out the top five in the rankings.
