This past Tuesday (May 8th), Pizza Hut announced it's expanding their 'beer with pizza' delivery service to 100 outposts in Arizona and California. But HEYYYY!!! What about North Dakota?!

The Pizza Hut pilot delivery program began delivering six-packs of beer with pizza in December of 2017 to cities in Arizona, and now is expanding the beer and pizza delivery service to several cities in California. Supposedly, they even deliver the beer in a 'custom cooler.' This sounds pretty promising.

Pizza Hut's Chief Marketing Officer, Zipporah Allen, even made the statement, "Nothing complements an oven-hot pizza like an ice-cold beer." I couldn't agree more.

However, at this time, there is no nationwide rollout plan in place for the booze with pizza service to expand further.

Given that Arizona and California are most likely 'test markets,' assuming this project is successful, just how long will it take for North Dakota to get this nice and convenient two-fer? I mean, believe it or not, Pizza Hut, you do have some franchises within the confines of North Dakota.

Sure, we're not always recognized up here, but guess what, we've been on a roll lately. In case you haven't noticed, I'm just going to throw a few examples out there for you: Super Bowl Champion Carson Wentz, Miss America Cara Mund, and we just got not one, but TWO Chick-fil-As last year, so yeah, people are talking.

Listen, Zipporah, I'm going to overlook the fact that your first name looks like it could be a popular new brand of zip-up hoodies, or even just a spin-off company of Zippo lighters, and assume that you already have a grasp on an expansion plan that includes the great state of North Dakota. And if so, we couldn't be more pleased with your potential plan in place because, beer and pizza delivered together from Pizza Hut? You sir, have found lightning in a bottle...Also, sorry about the quips about your name.

For now, all we can do in North Dakota is play the waiting game, but Pizza Hut pizza with beer delivery coming to us in the future? It may only be a matter of time before we're living large, fellow North Dakotans.
