These 5 Popular Food Items Are Gone Forever From North Dakota Stores
We see new things pop up in grocery stores all the time. Some of the items are questionable, like, who even thinks of the stuff? Well, get ready, there are several items that are about to leave North Dakota stores for good --everything from chips, to cereal, to chocolates and drinks.
I put together a list of six different things that are leaving our North Dakota stores. Before they’re gone forever, you might want to pick them up if they’re your favorite items.
1. Maple Cheerios
At the end of 2023 the company decided to take the cereal the flavor off the shelves. The company posted to Twitter that “there are many reasons why we missed why we may discontinue a product,” which doesn’t really tell us a lot.
I think we can guess that sales were not very good. To be honest, we have tons of other cheerio flavors to choose from --chocolate, peanut butter, frosted (my favorite), honey nuts (the OG), apple, cinnamon, blueberry, etc. I think we'll be okay.
2. Jalapeño, Honey Mustard and Wavy Pringles.
To be honest, I can’t remember the last time I had a Pringle, but I would’ve given the jalapeño flavor a try. Even though these are going to be leaving our shelves, if they haven’t already, I’m sure they’ll come out with all kinds of new ones in 2024.
3. Nabisco’s Famous Chocolate Wafers
According to The Washington Post, these cookies have been in stores since the 1920s! I’m not really sure why they decided to get rid of them, but if these were something you loved in childhood, you might want to stock up now.
4. Raspberry Rally Girl Scout Cookies
I remember a time when you couldn’t even get Girl Scout cookies at a grocery store. The crazy thing about this is that the sales for raspberry rally were actually really good.
The cookie came out last spring and sold out almost immediately. According to CNN, people started reselling the cookies for as much as $350 on eBay it’s insane , the Girl Scouts of America decided to pull the raspberry rallies from the shelves so we will no longer see them in 2024.
5. Sierra Mist Lemon Lime Soda
Last, but certainly not least, say goodbye to Sierra Mist Lemon Lime Soda. This drink has been around since the 90s. According to CNN, Pepsi discontinued the drink and replaced it with something called starry, another lemon lime drink called, "Starry."
