Where Does The Time Go?

This past week, my wife and I took our son down to the Bismarck School District office to get him registered for Kindergarten. How is he already 5 (6 in September)? I swear it was just yesterday I was driving nervously home from the hospital with him in the back seat.It really is interesting watching my children grow up. Most of the time I feel bad because I work an obscene amount of hours to support our family, which leaves me with very little time to spend with them and teach them things. My son's curiosity actually has him teaching me things when we do get to hang out. (mostly about video games or books he's reading, but it's still impressive to me)

Where does the time go? I blink, and they are another year older.

If only there was another hour in the day. That's all I would ask for. An additional hour to spend watching their minds develop in this insanely connected world.

Until I learn to bend the time-space continuum, I guess I'll just have to spend what time I do have with them.
