Who doesn't love real good authentic Mexican food? And we're not talking about the national food chains that have the drive through. We're talking the real, sit down Mexican restaurants. Where is the community in NoDak that has the most Mexican restaurants to become the Mexican food capital of the state.

According to Graphic.com, they came up with the list of the capital of Mexican food in each state. And they did that with this methodology.

Using Dun & Bradstreet data, FindTheHome looked at the Mexican restaurant density of major American cities (with populations of over 20,000 people).

It boiled down to how many Mexican restaurants in comparison to the population of any given community. According to one source, there are more than 38,000 Mexican restaurants in the United States.

The top spot in North Dakota goes to Fargo. There are 1.7 Mexican restaurants for every 10,000 people. The one restaurant that gets notice is Mexican Village. Locally, I know of at least 5 Mexican restaurants that opened in the Bismarck-Mandan area in the last few months.
