Cancer has only once affected my family, so I had to learn exactly what diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is. According to lymphoma.org, this type of cancer is very common, and that more than 18,000 people are diagnosed every year. Now, this form of cancer may be common, but it appears that people are generally older than Goven is - "most patients are over the age of 60 at diagnosis." I do not know Rachel Goven, but I am rooting for her. She has a whole life ahead of her - and she deserves to live it to the fullest. Now is the perfect time to help a fellow North Dakotan in her fight against cancer.
