Bay Area Bartender Becomes Millionaire Thanks to Found Money

A San Francisco Bay Area bartender is a millionaire after finding $20 cash laying on the ground and taking a chance on the lottery with it.

Hubert Tang, a bartender who works in a San Francisco International Airport bar, found the bill just waiting to be plucked up not far from the airport. He purchased two scratch tickets with the money -- and hit the jackpot.

He scratched the ticket just outside the store and couldn't believe his eyes. He told his friend that he "didn't know if it was real but, 'I think I just won a million dollars,'" says Tang.

Tang has no plans for the money yet, but is considering paying it forward by leaving $20 bills in random places for others to find.
