Bismarck’s U.S. Bank Robbed
Police are currently on the lookout for a suspect who robbed the U.S. Bank this morning.
According to a statement on the Bismarck Police Department's Facebook page, officers responded to an alarm from the bank at 9:17 a.m. where they verified a robbery had in fact taken place.
By the time police arrived, the suspect had already fled the scene. Police are advising anyone who lives in proximity to the 423 E Bismarck Expressway location to lock their doors and keep an eye out for any suspicious activity.
The suspect is described as be roughly 6 feet tall, with grey pants, a black shirt, darkly colored beard, and glasses. He was also believed to be carrying a respirator mask.
Police urge you to call the police (701- 223-1212) if you see anything suspicious or anyone resembling the suspect's description.

Police have released photos of the suspect taken from the bank's surveillance cameras.

Few additional details have been released at this time. The robber is still at large. The suspect approached a bank teller yesterday morning a stated, "This is a robbery," before making off with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was shown during the robbery.
