Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has been named the NFLPA Community MVP for Week 3 of the NFL season.

It's been a busy week of Carson Wentz helping others. Earlier this week, he offered to donate to a charity of Eagles kicker Jake Elliott's choice, and now Wentz is being recognized by the National Football League Player's Association for donating $120,000 to Canine Partners for Life. The organization helps to provide service and companion dogs for those in need.

By winning the NFLPA Community MVP, Wentz is now eligible to potentially win the Byron “Whizzer” White (BWW) Award, which is the highest honor a player can receive from the NFLPA. The BWW Award went to Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins last season.

It's already the second time during the NFL season that a player on the Philadelphia Eagles has won the NFLPA Community MVP. Defensive end Chris Long won the award in Week 2.

Carson Wentz continues to shine both on and off the football field. Keep making us proud, Carson!
