If there's one thing North Dakotans love to do on Sundays, it's pile into the car and head to Costco. We love perusing through the aisles, seeing what's new and what household items we can buy in bulk. That's not even to mention the free samples - those are the best.

Yes, many of us shop at Costco. Shopping there saves us several trips to the store, and most importantly, money. We love saving money where we can. Now, what if I told you there are a few secrets that might help decide what to buy?

Look, I don't have a Costco membership, but if you do, I've discovered some price secrets that might help you keep a little money in your wallet.

4 North Dakota Costco Secrets

1. Prices that end in .99 are full price.

2. Prices that end with .97 are typically manager's deals. These items stay on sale for a short time.

3. Prices that end in .49 or .79 are usually specials from the manufacturer. These tend to be new items on the shelves for a trial run. This isn't the full retail price.

4. Prices ending with .00 are products the manager wants off the shelves forever. It won't be long before those items are out of stock for good.

Take advantage of this new information. Hopefully, this will help you save all the money you possibly can and help you identify things that might be disappearing from shelves soon.

Please pass the information along to your friends and neighbors, too; we could all use a little money in our bank accounts.
