According to a press release from the American Cancer Society, The fourth annual Crave A Cure event, is set for 7 p.m., November 19, 2020.  This years event will be held virtually.  Participants will have an opportunity to start their holiday shopping early while joining the fight against cancer.

Proceeds from the event enable the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) to continue its lifesaving work. ACS CAN is a nonprofit, nonpartisan affiliate of the American Cancer Society whose members advocate on the state and federal levels for cancer research funding as well as the concerns of cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.

For the protection of constituents and volunteers, the event will be held virtually this year. “We are fortunate to have the generous support of our sponsors who know the fight against cancer continues even during a pandemic,” said Heidi LaBree, 2020 Crave a Cure chair. “Their support will make for a festive event that will feature auction items, live music, gift card grab bags and coupon books to area restaurants so participants can still savor the flavor of Crave a Cure.”

Supporters can view donated items HERE!  during November 1st to December 19th, 2020. Bonus items will be featured the night of the event. The silent auction begins at 7 p.m. on November 19. ACS CAN volunteers will work with winning bidders to ensure prompt delivery of items.

Tickets are only $20 dollars and available HERE!

Crave a Cure brings together the community to celebrate those who have survived cancer, encourages people undergoing treatment and raises awareness about how to reduce the burden of cancer. The American Cancer Society estimates more than 4060 North Dakotans will be diagnosed with cancer and 1,260 cancer-related deaths will occur in 2020. Estimates also indicate 1.8 million Americans will hear the words “you have cancer” this year.
