MN Man Allegedly Attempted Sexual Assault on Daughter’s Friend

Ricky Matthew Venne, 34, of Crosby, Minnesota stands accused of trying to get his teen daughter's friend, 16, to sleep with him while the friend and Venne's daughter enjoyed a sleepover.

Venne's attempt failed, but the young lady, who remains unidentified, made the level-headed decision to file a complaint with the Crow Wing County District Court.

Inforum.com reports that "Venne woke [the girl] up shortly before 6 a.m. [on the morning of Jan 10] then allegedly pulled the girl into his bedroom and pushed her onto his bed. The girl escaped and told her friend about the incident."

That makes two presumably traumatized young ladies.

Inforum goes on to report that Venne faces charges of "fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct using force or coercion, as well as fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct against someone more than 16 but less than 18 years old, and where the defendant is more than three years older than the complainant and in a position of authority over the complainant."
