If we're being honest, I've never visited Crosby, but now I'm going to make it a point to stop there.
Crosby was named the most underrated small town for a number of reasons.
1. Close to Canada
Looking for a fun daytrip? Crosby is just six miles from the Canadian border, so if you're looking for a quick getaway or escape Crosby is a great place to be.
Bop over to Canada, have some fun, and eat some good food. Once you're done you can drive back home and fall asleep in your own bed. It's nice to be able to go to a whole different country without having to travel for a week.
2. Remote and Rugged
The source says Crosby is everything you want from North Dakota; you get to experience the best of North Dakota's landscape.
3. Scandinavian Heritage
Many North Dakota towns have Scandinavian influence. Parks, food, blonde children, etc.
Of the town's 1,000 residents, most of them are very proud of their Scandinavian heritage and are happy to share that with you.
4. Montana
Crosby is only 6 miles from the Canadian border, and it's also just 35 miles from Montana. Want to stay in a cabin and see a few more trees? Montana is just a hop skip and a jump away from you seeing what the state has to offer.
