National Chain Store Files Bankruptcy: North Dakota Clothing Store Set To Close
Over the weekend a national retailer, known for selling women's clothing and accessories announced it would be filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
This kind of news isn't always an indication that a company will cease operations, but sadly in this case, that will be happening.
If you loved all things style and fashion when you were younger, you probably shopped at this store. Forever 21 was incredibly popular between the years 2005 and 2015, but since then, the stores have struggled.

According to CNN, this is actually the second time in six years that the company has filed for bankruptcy.
In 2019 the company filed for bankruptcy and shut down approximately 200 stores globally.
According to the source, sales started to plummet when foreign, fast e-commerce retailers like Shein and Temu started becoming popular.
As a matter of fact, most brick-and-mortar stores struggled and continue to struggle with the online competition.
North Dakota Impact
The CNN Report said the company filed for bankruptcy over the weekend, and they plan on closing all of the stores across the United States. Currently, there are 540 Forever 21 stores worldwide.
So yes, that does mean we will be saying goodbye to Fargo's Forever 21 location in the West Acres Mall.
The source also said that the stores and websites won't immediately close, but you will see a gradual wind down as they try to find a buyer for some of their assets. They went on to say that they will try to liquidate in an orderly manner.
With that, we do not have any specific closing dates at this time, but keep checking back for updates.
