If you're thinking the most expensive colleges or universities in North Dakota would have to be in either Grand Forks or Fargo, you would be wrong.

UND and NDSU may typically be what come to mind when we think of North Dakota colleges and universities. But neither of them holds the title as the most expensive college in North Dakota. According to 24/7 Wall St., that would go to Trinity Bible College and Graduate School.

The college is located in Ellendale, ND. The town is just north of the South Dakota border and is a little over two hours from both Bismarck and Fargo.

First-year net tuition prices and funding programs were factored in to figure out which school was the most expensive in the state. Here are some general statistics from the school.

  • Annual net price: $20,554
  • Statewide 4-yr public university tuition: $7,220
  • Trinity Bible College and Graduate School admission rate: 59.4%
  • Total state student aid spending per student: $361.90
