Signs of spring and summer are everywhere. Aside from the obvious rising temperatures, we're seeing more outdoor events popping up, seasonal businesses returning, and all kinds of things gearing up for the change of season.

It's exciting that we're finally able to pack away those winter clothes, shake off the winter blues, and get ready for some sunshine.

Getting Around Town

Now that the weather is warming up, we have a new mode of transportation in Bismarck-Mandan and other North Dakota cities. You might have already noticed, but along the sidewalks in Bismarck are the Bird Scooters.

Yes, we get to scoot around town again! If you've ever ridden a Bird Scooter you know how fun it is. Bird Scooters are not only fun for kids, they are a way adults can be kids again.

Not only that, they are a practical and cost-efficient way to get around town --especially helpful for those who don't have cars.

If you sit in a stuffy office all day, you might opt to use a bird scooter, just to get a little fresh air every day.

A post was made on the Downtown Business Association of Bismarck's Facebook page, showing that the scooters are currently set up in the downtown area.

I'm sure you're excited to get rolling on the scooters again, but just a friendly reminder: be cautious traveling on roadways, don't ride a scooter intoxicated, place the scooters in an upright position, out of the way of traffic when you're finished, and follow all other rules and guidelines outlined by the Bird Scooter company.
