Fall is officially here, and we're seeing signs of it everywhere. Stores are packed with Halloween candy and home decor; Spirit Halloween stores have opened, and pumpkin patches and corn mazes are full of families.

While many of us love the fall season because we get to pull out our cute boots and clothes from the back of the closet, others do not look forward to what's to come.

Soon, the temperatures will start dropping throughout North Dakota, and it won't be long before it gets full-on, bone-chilling. As much as we don't want to think about the cold that is coming, it is good to know when the temperatures are going to start to really drop, so we can prepare.
