
Two North Dakota Buildings Named The Ugliest In America
North Dakota is a beautiful state; there's no doubt or question about that. We have places like the Scandinavian Heritage Park, the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and the endless views along the Missouri River.
North Dakota is full of stunning, picture-perfect backdrops, but some people might look around and find a few things that aren't quite as visually appealing.
A survey was done by NewJerseyRealEstateNetwork.com, where 3,000 people were asked to help identify the country's ugliest public buildings.
A list of 100 buildings was put together from the responses, and yep, you guessed it, a couple of North Dakota buildings made the list.

Over the years, while living here, I've heard several people say that they think the North Dakota Capitol Building is ugly, and doesn't go with the landscape, or isn't the North Dakota style.
A lot of people have strong feelings about the looks of that building. Surprisingly, it wasn't one named on this list.
Coming in as the 48th ugliest building in America is none other than the Minot City Hall
How is this one of the ugliest buildings in the country? I'm sure I speak for many North Dakotans when I say we are shaking our fists in outrage.
The second building that made the "ugliest" list is located in Bismarck.
