At least three people have been shot at a community college in Houston, Texas. The shooting, reported by CNN affiliates KPRC and KHOU, occurred around 12:30 pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses say two men were arguing when one pulled a gun and opened fire. According to school spokesmen Jed Young, two people were shot when they got caught in the "crossfire". One of the suspects, who is among the injured, is in policy custody. Authorities are actively searching for the second suspect.

While authorities believe the school is under control, it remains on lockdown. Christina Garza with the Harris County Sheriff's Office explains:

This is a very volatile and active scene at the Lone Star College. I can confirm we have one person in custody. Who that person is and what the role that person is I do not know at this time. We do have every possible resource from the Harris County Sheriff's Office at this location as well as other law enforcement agencies.

We will continue to update the story as details become available.
