Want a Four-Day Work Week in Bismarck? Sanitation May Be the Answer For You
The Bismarck Public Works Department is adopting the concept of a new schedule for sanitation workers, as they will collect garbage four days a week.
The 10-hour schedule per day will go into effect this summer. The concept is meant to allow for holiday flexibility during the week.
The four-day collection rotation was voted on last week by the Bismarck city commissioners.
More and more companies have been going to four-day work weeks to take advantage of the benefits. Companies that have made the move have shown employees are happier and more productive, they feel a better balance between work and home, and their overall work morale has increased.
If you've always dreamed of having those three-day weekends, an occupation as a sanitation worker in Bismarck sounds like a good option.
