Get ready to 'Embrace Your Fears' at the 14th year of the Haunted Fort, North Dakota's most haunted attraction.

The Haunted Fort, recently named one of the must-visit haunted houses in the U.S., is bigger and more terrifying that last year with three different haunted houses to make your way through along with the return of the Dark Hood.

We got an exclusive look at the 'Circus' themed room which is described as 'dark and sinister.' Matt Schanandore, Events Director at Fort Lincoln, shared how the Fort prepares the facility each year, what's new in 2015, and what he considers to be the scariest part of the Haunted Fort.

Opening night is Friday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. seven miles south of Mandan at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park. The Haunted Fort will be open every Friday and Saturday throughout the month of October.
