MEMORIAL DAY 2013- ND VETERANS CEMETERY
Monday will mark another very important day, where the entire nation pays tribute to the men and women that have given the ultimate in service for our country. Memorial Day 2013.
Several local events are happening Monday, where you can take time from your holiday to pay tribute. Recent Medal of Honor recipient Clinton Romasha will be the keynote speaker at the Memorial Day ceremony at the Veterans Cemetery, south of Mandan. With the welcoming remarks from Governor Jack Dalrymple, Senator John Hoevan and Representative Keven Cramer. The 188th Army Band Brass Quintet will also be on hand. Everyone is invited and you are encourage to bring blankets or lawn chairs. The ceremony begins at 12noon, rain or shine.
For the motorcycle rider, you can meet at The Shop on Airport Road in Bismarck. All riders will form a procession that will be escorted to the event by Bismarck Police department. The plan is to arrive at The Shop at 10am and the ride leave for the cemetery at 11am. The ride is free.
