After this cooler weekend, I'm sure most North Dakotans will be ready to get out to the parks and start camping.

To prepare us for this, we put together a list of the unwritten rules for camping in North Dakota, and we're laughing but totally serious.

Let's get into it.

That's it! Of course, there are several other rules we don't need to be told to follow while camping:

Lock your cooler so animals and other drunk campers don't steal your food, clean up your campsite, and keep nature clean.

Don't sit on your phone the whole time; that literally defeats the purpose.

Don't feed the animals, this will only cause problems.

Bring earplugs because there is always one obnoxious snorer.

Don't steal someone's spot by the fire. This isn't musical lawn chairs, it's a total dibs and "was here first" situation.

Never trust the person who says they know how to set up the tent first. If you plan on sleeping that night, go with the most qualified person for this task; don't let anyone waste your time.

Gosh, as I keep writing, I've realized that there are way more unwritten rules than. Oops.
